What is Warrior Fight Club?

Fight club is a light contact kickboxing program designed to improve footwork, body movement, and technique. It will increase your fighting endurance and allow you to develop good fighting habits. It’s a great workout as well as learning some combative kickboxing.

When are classes?

Fight Club is typically on Friday Night, twice a month. Check the monthly calendar for exact dates and times.

 

What can I expect?

Fight club is a combination of fitness, technique drills, and sparring with other people. Safety gear is worn during sparring so there is no fear of injury.

What if I’ve never done anything like this?

You do not need to have any kickboxing or martial arts experience to join this class. The class teaches you the basic techniques and how to use them efficiently against your opponent.

What kind of clothing and gear do I need?

Standard fitness clothing of a t-shirt or athletic shirt with  sleeves and shorts or workout pants are recommended. If you’re ever not sure, ask one of the instructors.

Shoes are optional but we require that all shoes have non-marking soles and that the shoes only be worn inside the school. This protects the specialized mats and keeps them clean from outside dirt and other debris during classes.

The following gear is required for starting Fight Club:

  • Sparring Gear
  • Mouthpiece
  • Protective cup (for males)

The following gear is recommended:

  • Water bottle
  • Small towel for sweat

Who can attend?

All ages 14+ are welcome to join. This is open to the public so you don’t need to be on an existing program.
